Life at Constient
You will work on technologies that change under you and on delivery problems that do not care how new the technology is. One quarter that might be benchmarking vision-language models against each other on Arabic invoices; the next, hardening SSH across a client's Linux estate or load-testing a Kubernetes platform before release. Teams are small, reviews are real and ownership lasts past go-live.
We expect you to understand the client's domain well enough to argue with a requirement, to review colleagues' work carefully and to leave systems that someone else can maintain. Areas of opportunity

AI engineering
Computer vision for products such as VisionGuard AI, document extraction pipelines, LangGraph agent systems and the evaluation work that decides what ships. Python, model evaluation and a healthy suspicion of demo results.
Data engineering
Lakehouse platforms on Databricks and Azure, governed pipelines, time-series stores such as TimescaleDB and the semantic layers that give models and dashboards the same numbers.
Quantum research
Algorithm and simulation experiments, classical baselining, quantum-inspired optimization and post-quantum cryptography readiness aligned to NIST FIPS 203 and 204. Research-stage work with honest reporting.
Platform and cloud
Kubernetes on GKE and Azure, observability with Grafana and Prometheus, GitOps with ArgoCD, load testing and the security hardening of Linux estates.
Enterprise applications
Custom platforms, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central AL extensions, licensed integrations for regulated clients and the modernization of systems that must stay up while they change.
Delivery
Delivery leads who run discovery, hold the success criteria and are accountable for outcomes across India, the Gulf and United States. Sector depth in BFSI, manufacturing, energy or hospitality is a plus.

How does hiring work?
A conversation with an engineer first, then a practical exercise drawn from real work rather than a puzzle, then a discussion of the exercise with the team you would join. We tell you where you stand after each step. Locations are Chennai and Bangalore for most engineering roles, Abu Dhabi for Gulf delivery and New Jersey for US-facing roles; hybrid arrangements depend on the role and the client work involved.
Frequently asked questions
Do you hire people without prior AI experience?
Yes, into data, platform, enterprise applications and delivery roles, and into AI engineering where a strong software or mathematics background is matched with evidence of learning fast. Several of our AI engineers began in backend or data roles here. What we cannot teach quickly is care for quality and the willingness to say what you do not know, so we look for those first.
Is quantum research a real job here or a side project?
A real, research-stage role with honest expectations. The work is feasibility studies, simulation, classical baselining and post-quantum cryptography readiness, documented with its limits. We have no client quantum deployments yet and we do not pretend otherwise. If you want to help build a research program from the method up, that is the job; if you want a quantum computer in the basement, we do not have one.
Can I work remotely or from a different office?
Hybrid working is normal for most engineering roles, and moving between Chennai, Bangalore and Abu Dhabi happens for client work. Fully remote arrangements depend on the role and on the data residency rules of the clients involved; some financial and OT engagements require on-site presence. We discuss this openly in the first conversation.
What happens after I send my CV?
A person reads it, not a filter. If there is a fit with a current or upcoming need, we arrange the first conversation with an engineer. If there is not, we say so and keep your details for a period you agree to under our privacy policy. Either way you hear back from us.
