Quantum computing consulting from a research and engineering company
From quantum research to working applications, we help organizations explore advanced computing, strengthen digital security and take on hard optimization problems. Every claim is tested in simulation, measured against a classical baseline and reported whether or not quantum wins. That discipline is the service. The engineering that follows turns a result into a system you can run.
The business challenge is choosing the right problem, not the right hardware
Quantum technologies are opening new possibilities in computation, simulation, sensing and optimization, but most enterprise use cases are still at the research stage. The hard part is not access to a quantum processor. It is picking a problem where quantum or quantum-inspired methods could plausibly matter, setting a fair classical baseline, and following a disciplined path to an answer.
Three failure modes recur: a vendor demo with no classical comparison, a pilot scoped around a hardware roadmap, and a security team told to "go quantum-safe" with no cryptographic inventory. Our quantum computing consulting removes those problems before budget is committed.
What is quantum technology consulting and why does it matter now?
Quantum technology consulting is the work of deciding, with evidence, where quantum and quantum-inspired methods can create business value and where classical computing remains the right tool. It combines scientific validation, domain knowledge and engineering discipline so a promising idea either becomes a prototype or is retired with a written reason.
It matters now for two reasons. Regulators have put dates on quantum-safe security: NIST published FIPS 203, 204 and 205 in August 2024, and its draft IR 8547 deprecates today's public-key algorithms after 2030 and disallows them after 2035. And quantum-inspired optimization already runs on classical hardware, so whether it beats your solver can be answered this year.
The researchers who run our experiments sit with the engineers who own integration, security and support. That is what we mean by a quantum research and engineering company.
This research applies across banking, healthcare and life sciences, energy and utilities, aerospace, manufacturing, telecommunications and logistics. Our post-quantum cryptography migration services carry the most immediate regulatory demand.
Our quantum technologies services across six areas
Six areas, one method. Each begins with a feasibility question and advances to engineering only when the evidence supports it.
Quantum Computing & Simulation
Quantum algorithm research, circuit design and execution on simulators, hybrid quantum-classical architectures, and feasibility assessment that names hardware or simulator requirements and relevance criteria before work starts.
Quantum Sensing & Materials
Research into quantum-enabled measurement, computational materials characterization and simulation of molecular interactions and lattice structures, with physics-aware validation on every model. Relevant to aerospace, energy, advanced materials and instrumentation.
Post-Quantum Cryptography
Readiness assessment of cryptographic dependencies and long-lived data, phased migration planning, integration of ML-KEM and ML-DSA, and validation of interoperability and performance. See the dedicated PQC migration page.
Quantum-Inspired Optimisation
Quantum-inspired and physics-guided optimization for problems with thousands of variables: traffic and transportation routing, power grid load balancing and aircraft shape optimization. Runs on classical hardware today, benchmarked against your incumbent solver.
Quantum Machine Learning
Hybrid quantum-classical experiments with quantum kernels, variational circuits and hybrid learning architectures, applied to healthcare data, financial analytics and predictive modeling. Every experiment is compared against a classical machine learning baseline.
Quantum Research & Innovation
Feasibility studies, algorithm development, mathematical modeling, circuit experimentation, research proof-of-concept builds and research-to-product engineering, including joint studies with academic institutions and enterprise research groups.
Enterprise use cases we are equipped to investigate
Research questions we can scope, simulate and report on today. None is a deployed client system yet.
Supply chain and routing optimization
Test whether a quantum-inspired solver improves the vehicle routing or warehouse slotting plan your heuristic produces, under real time windows. We benchmark on your data and report the gap for logistics operators.
Portfolio and resource allocation
Formulate a constrained allocation problem as a QUBO or equivalent, run quantum-inspired and classical methods side by side, and show where solution quality or time-to-solution differs at your problem size.
Cryptographic inventory and migration planning
Discover every certificate, key, library and protocol in an estate, build a cryptographic bill of materials, score exposure by data lifetime, and sequence the migration to NIST-standardized algorithms.
Power grid and energy network optimization
Explore load balancing and distribution scheduling with physical operating limits as hard constraints, so candidates are checked for plausibility before further computation. Built for energy and utilities planners.
Molecular and materials simulation feasibility
Assess whether a molecule or lattice problem is within reach of current simulators and near-term hardware, estimate resource requirements, and define a meaningful classical comparison.
Hybrid quantum machine learning benchmarks
Compare variational or kernel-based quantum models against gradient-boosted trees and neural baselines on one predictive task, with identical data splits and metrics, whichever side wins.
How we deliver in five steps across a research track and an engineering track
Our research-led method examines technical feasibility, physical constraints and computational results before any concept moves toward prototype development and enterprise integration. Steps 1 to 3 are the Research track: what is feasible. Steps 4 and 5 are the Engineering track: what works becomes a system.
- 01
Discover
Identify where quantum and quantum-inspired methods could create value, and where classical computing remains right.
- 02
Validate
Examine technical feasibility and physical constraints before committing effort.
- 03
Simulate
Test computational results in simulation and compare them against classical approaches on the same inputs.
- 04
Engineer
Advance promising concepts toward prototype development: production code, integration points, security review.
- 05
Scale
Move validated work toward enterprise integration, with ownership defined before go-live.
The physics-aware validation framework used at Validate is an evolving research layer for checking the physical consistency of proposed computational approaches. It is a research framework under development, not a commercially certified or fully benchmarked product.
Business outcomes and how we measure them honestly
The measurable outcome of a quantum engagement is a decision you can defend: a documented comparison against classical methods at your problem size, a near-term hardware resource estimate, or a sequenced cryptographic migration plan with dates. Current quantum approaches may not outperform classical systems on your problem.
Where we are today. Constient Quantum is a new capability. We have no published quantum deployments or customer pilots to show yet, and we say so plainly. What we offer are research and engineering engagements, proposed as service offerings, with results measured against classical methods and shared whether or not quantum wins.
Where we deliver. In India, work aligns with the National Quantum Mission and the DST roadmap of February 2026, under which critical sectors begin post-quantum implementation by 2027. In UAE, the National Encryption Policy of November 2025 requires government entities to hold cryptographic inventories and PQC transition plans. In Saudi Arabia, banks face inventory and risk-assessment dates under SAMA's August 2026 circular. In United States, OMB M-26-15 of June 2026 sets a 2030 target for high-value assets. See our locations.
Security, governance and quality for research that touches real data
Research engagements run under the same controls as production work: least-privilege access, approved environments, reviewable changes and test evidence. Where a study uses your operational data, we agree residency and handling before the first file moves, in line with India's DPDP Act 2023, UAE PDPL and SDAIA's PDPL.
Cryptographic work gets extra care. Inventory tooling runs read-only wherever possible, findings are classified before they are written down, and recommendations are reviewed by a second engineer.
Why Constient for quantum work
We are a research and engineering company. Quantum is where that shows most clearly.
Classical baseline first
No quantum or quantum-inspired result leaves our hands without the classical comparison beside it. If your solver wins, we say so.
Research next to engineering
The team that runs the simulation also builds the AI and data platforms a result would plug into, so there is no hand-off gap.
Standards, not slogans
FIPS 203, 204 and 205, NIST IR 8547, SAMA and India's DST roadmap are the references we name in proposals. Our innovation program explains how studies are run.
Frequently asked questions
How does a quantum computing consulting engagement with Constient start?
With a half-day discovery workshop. We agree the business decision the study should inform, the data available, the classical method you use today and what a meaningful improvement looks like. From that we propose a fixed-duration feasibility study with a written deliverable. Contact us to schedule it.
Do you have quantum client references or completed deployments?
Not yet, and we will not invent them. Our quantum work is research-led: feasibility studies, simulation, classical benchmarking and PQC planning aligned to NIST standards and regional regulators. Our AI, data and software work is in production with clients in financial services, manufacturing, hospitality and energy.
Is quantum-inspired optimisation the same as running on quantum hardware?
No. Quantum-inspired optimisation uses classical hardware and algorithms informed by quantum ideas, such as annealing-style search over a QUBO formulation. It can run on your problem today and be compared with your current solver. Hardware-based quantum optimization remains a research topic, and each proposal says which one it covers.
Where does the work happen and where does our data stay?
In an environment you approve: your own cloud tenancy, an on-premises cluster or a Constient environment in India, UAE or United States. For regulated data we default to your tenancy and agree residency in writing first. Cryptographic inventories never leave your estate without sign-off.
How long does a feasibility study take and what do we get at the end?
Most feasibility studies run 6 to 10 weeks depending on data readiness and problem size. You receive a technical report with the problem formulation, the classical baseline, the quantum or quantum-inspired results, a hardware resource estimate where relevant, and a recommendation to proceed, pause or stop.
What is the commercial model for quantum engagements?
Feasibility studies and readiness assessments are fixed-scope and fixed-price. Research collaborations and prototype engineering run as time-boxed phases with a stage gate at Validate, Simulate and Engineer, so you decide at each step whether to continue. PQC migrations are scoped per system group.
Should we start with quantum computing or with post-quantum cryptography?
If you hold long-lived sensitive data or answer to SAMA, UAE Cyber Security Council, RBI, CERT-In or US federal guidance, start with post-quantum cryptography; the deadlines are real. Explore quantum computing where you have a genuinely hard optimization or simulation problem. Banking and telecommunications clients usually need both.
Build your quantum technologies roadmap
Share your use case, operating constraints and target outcome. We will begin with a focused technical and business conversation and tell you plainly whether quantum deserves your budget this year.
